Bike Blessing & Ride

In conjuction with Independence Harley Bike Blessing, keep those boots on for a ride into the mountains led by the HOG Chapter. We will meet up with another chapter for lunch and ride the mountains together afterwards before heading back to Charlotte. 

Meet at Independence Harley Davidson by the stage

Bike Blessing starts at 8:30am
Ride Meeting: 9:00am
KSU: 9:15am (we may be a few min late departing depending on # of bikes)
Estimated mileage - 285
Ride Classification - A - Highway and curves

Gas stop will be 90+ min and @ 100 miles so come with full tank

Lunch will be at Countryside BBQ in Marion and come hungry. @ $15 per for some great BBQ - Fast lunch so eat quickly...

Continue on riding around Lake James and some 181 & 126 with some great curves and views. Some back-tracking coming home.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release.

Independence Chapter #4539 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Independence Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
